Description

I love the stand made by Einstakur3D but I wanted to be able to plug it in while it was displayed too.

It fits perfectly on my 65W USB-C charger that I bought on Amazon, but I found out later that it fits snugly with a Nintendo Switch USB-C cord. It is really tight on the Nintendo cord, but I swear it works. If you have issues with a cord that is roughly the same size as the Nintendo Switch then take a look at my note at bottom of the listing. I'm very new to CAD so this took me forever to get right and then on top of that I put it on the “wrong” side. I say wrong because the original designer has their Avata 2 facing downwards while mounted, but I actually like it pointing upwards instead. I hope that is okay! I was going to provide a model with it on the other side, and then a model with it on both sides but it was hard enough getting this one right. Haha

Couple things:

  1. I removed a sliver of the one side so that you can open the Avata 2 port and then slide the model down so it can remain bent open. The amount of stress on the port should be negligibile but please don't blame me if anything bad happens.
  2. I removed just enough of a window for a standard USB-C cord to come through and line up perfectly with hole.

Please let me know if this does or does not work for you! It took me so long to get it right but I believe that's more due to my being a beginner at CAD software.

Note: For beefier cords like a Nintendo Switch one what I did first was push my cord's head through the hole to kind of get used to how it goes through the model and make sure it clears it. Then I would open the port on my Avata 2, slide my Avata 2 down, try to position the USB-C cord in, and finally push in gently until you hear your computer beep to notify you it worked (or some other indicator). Please don't force it. It should connect easily enough.
