Description

Was getting tired of finding filters for GoPros but not for the amazing DJI Action 3 and 4.

This adapter system fits the scuba housing for the DJI Action 3 or 4 and not the camera itself.

Print settings:
PLA or PETG (PLA might not last as long in salt water)
0.12 or 0.2 layer height
100% infill
3 wallcount
NO SUPPORTS NEEDED
NO RAFT NEEDED

Prints in 10-15 minutes on the Ender 3 V3 SE.

GoPro filter adapter will print in place with no supports ONLY if you have good overhang printing. Stock Ender 3 V3 SE did this with no issues.

Lens filter (58mm) adapter print in place with no supports.

About the models:
This is a multipart model with an adapter for the DJI Scuba housing and a seperate adapter for filters or lenses. It's designed this way to remove the need for supports which are a major cause of breakage and frustration when using parts this delicate (1mm thick).

Print both parts and just use superglue (cyanocrylate) to stick parts together, i'll leave the alignment up to you and will look at adressing this in future.

The thermoformed tabs are simple to use, simple stick the tabs on the DJIACTION_SCUBA_ADAPTER_Xmmtabs into some hot water and rotate/bend those around something small and cylindrical (pencil might be too big). All you want is a nice curve which goes about 70% around. Use a rubber band to then wrap around the back of the scuba housing to add another layer of protection to not loose your filters.

Camera settings:
I wont explain how to use white balance as I am still learning how to get that right on these cameras but ensure your camera is set to Standard/Normal in terms of field of view otherwise you will get frameing when using GoPro compatible filters. With the 58mm there will be no such issues and WIDE will be usable.
