Want to get the perfect position of your stepper driver and mark their position on the build plate? Than this is for you!
- Align the stencil with the edge of the build pate.
- tape it (fixating it temporarily)
- use a pointy sharpy and trace the stepper-driver outline and mark the hole position
- apply 12mm Brother TZe label (40mm length) to provide additional information (e.g in a spare/blank mounting spot to identify them years later when an upgrade will be made)
- remove the stencil
- center punch the holes
- drill holes
- enjoy a neat layout control cabinet for your CNC-mill or 3D-printer.
This stencil in particular is made for one stepper-online.com CL57T paired with three stronger stepper-online.com CL86T stepperdriver (e.g. Z-axis: small stepper, y&z: large stepper, a (4th axis or spare slot): large stepper.
