A model ski lift which requires a relatively small number of additional, non-3D printed parts, and has the facility to be motorised. It suits XXXX characters and I've incorporated some parts from Thingiverse.
All the parts can be printed without support. The pylons are printed upside down to facilitate this.

Some XXXX technic bits such as axles etc.
Superglue to fasten the pylons to their wooden bases and the pylon guides to the pylons, as well as for bonding the ends of the 2mm bungee.
If anyone knows a better way of making a smooth join in the bungee please let me know in the comments. I've just used a bit of cotton and superglue, but I'd like to improve it.
You'll need to mount the pylons on a suitable base with space to fit your motor if you're using one. You can then add your ski slope using foam/card/papier maché etc., finished with a snow blanket.
Have fun!
I've added a small part that makes it possible to use double pulley wheels which make the lift operate a bit more smoothly, although there will, inevitably, still be some jerkiness.
