Description

This unique purge chute solution screws right onto your P1- or X1-Series Bambu Lab printer and allows you to attach plastic bags to catch filament waste!

Steps:

  1. Wrap a plastic bag around the mouth of the Poop Chute Adapter and use a zip tie to fasten it securely.
  2. Unscrew the two small M3 screws above and below the purge chute.
  3. Align the Poop Chute Adapter and screw it on.
    1. Note: you may need to use slightly longer M3 screws than those you just removed. I used screws provided by Bambu Lab in the accessories box shipped with my printer!
    2. Note: The hole on the front side of the Poop Chute Adapter is there so that you can stick your hex key through it to tighten the bottom screw
  4. Now you're ready to print without filament poops landing everywhere!

Simply superb 👍 Unfortunately, it doesn't fit if an external roll is mounted

New to 3D printing, and this was one of my first prints. It came out great and fits nicely. However, I only secured it via the top screw only because accessing the bottom can be a pain in the arse. Cheers!

What would be nice is, an end of the adapter that a 2" pvc pipe fitting can attach to.

cannot get a bag or zip tie around the end no clearance to housing

that Is true. maybe you could add a curve to the end in tube as to let bags be attached more firmly

Maybe you could add handles so you can hang a plastic bag without needing a zip tie.
