Description

Max the Dog Door Topper

Sits upon a door frame, and uses its own weight to balance.

Includes a 3MF for printing on a Bambu w/ an MMU, a single piece STL that you can perform filament changes at specific layers to achieve a multi-color print, and the individual pieces in STL for importing into a slicer as a merged object and assigning colors for other MMU slicers/printers.

Bambu MMU 4 to 5 color version
You may want to consider enabling ironing for top most layer
If you only have a 4 color MMU, insert a pause at layer # 46
While paused, select the slot with black, and press "Unload".
And than swap the black filament for a dark brown filament for the ears.

Filament change by layer height, when using a 0.2mm layer height
Start with black
Change to light brown at layer 46 (9.2mm)
Change to dark brown at layer 50 (10mm)
Change to white at layer 52 (10.4mm)
Change to Yellow at layer 54 (10.8mm)
You may want to consider enabling ironing

If you want a left corner (rather than right), use your slicers mirroring option and mirror along the X axis.

This is what it would look like without the door hanging part...

We flipped it and changed some colors but turned out great!

Love this print but is it possible to upload a face down version?

Its possible, but I only have a 4 color AMS. All five parts at the same exact height. Merged into slicer. Print at either face up or face down. But that would be a lot more color changes (slower).

I've added a 5 color 3MF that prints the face fat against the build plate. It's probably stuck in verifying right now. Its probably under raw files, rather than a print profile. Cause print profile requires a photo to prove I printed it... which I did not print that one. Good luck, may the odds forever be in your favor.

I also only have a 4 color AMS but was planning on changing a color so I only had to use 4 colors
