This is a simple desicant box with acrylic face that stores beads of 0.2mm and greater. It is designed to fit beneath a roll of filament.

A version without a transparent lid is also available here.

I purchased my acrylic circles from Amazon, required dimensions are diameter of 5cm, thickness of 2mm, as seen in image below.

Construction Steps

Layout components

lid should have the recess for the acrylic facing upwards.

Glue acrylic to lid

Simply use super glue or similar CA glue to the disc into the lid. (Use less than I did)

Wait to dry and fill up silica beads

Wait for the glue to dry, I like to make use of small clamps but its not necessary. Add silica gel beads to bottom.

Close with a snap
