Description

Overview

This is a quick little web cam shelf I modelled up to mount my Logitech C920 on top of my Quntis Pro+ lightbar. As is, the lightbar blocks the top center of the monitor for webcam placement, so I created a quick fix to allow both to coexist on top of my main screen. This mount will snap onto the top of the Quntis Pro+ clamp, so it's easily adjusted and removable if necessary. Inspired by kaerusummer and their lovely Logitech C922 Webcam mount for Xiaomi Mi Light Bar.

Additional Materials

  • 2x 12x3mm Neodymium Disc Magnets (optional, for extra stability of webcam mount)

Printing

Standard settings are fine, however you will need a tiny support column for the knub that attaches to the bottom of the webcam. Printed in PETG, however PLA should work fine. I've attached the STEP file for easy edits, and a .3mf with the model (as well as print settings/orientation, if desired).

Assembly

  1. Once the piece is printed, ensure the lightbar is mounted and it's power cable is plugged in
  2. (optional) if you're going to use the magnet slots, super glue two 12x3mm magnets into the slots on the top of the mount
  3. Clip the mount on top of the lightbar clamp, with the prongs towards the back of the monitor
  4. Lastly, line up the bottom of the C920 (or other applicable) webcam with the knob and adjust as needed. You're done!
