Description

Introduction:

The Imperial A1 Miniature Replicator Toolbox is a standard issue for the maintenance division, designed for efficient and precise materialized servicing.

This advanced toolbox includes a dedicated slot for "The Scraper," an essential tool for cleaning materializer substrates.

It features organized compartments for all standard A1 Miniature Replicator tools, including a "PTFE Tube Remover Tool," and a concealed drawer for emergency essentials.

Thanks to these amazing people's work, I just added cosmetics and re-arranged stuff a bit.

@hfoster52 - The toolbox model https://makerworld.com/en/models/65527#profileId-68895

@jponky - the insert model https://makerworld.com/en/models/81829?from=search#profileId-87070

Remix details:

  • Added Star wars themed imperial markings on the box, the front says “ Property of the galactic empire” as well as the back with weird alien-looking letters
  • Removed the need for supports on the box, two of the hinges had too much flat overhang.
  • Re-arranged the insert layout, removing two hot-ends, adding the scraper slot
  • Aligned the two middle grooves and sculpted a pinching point to lift the insert easily
  • Dug in the two hotends, oil a bit more, and flipped the H1.5 mm key so all the tool don't stick out more than 7.5mm on top.
  • Designed a hidden drawer to lift the top insert a bit so the gap between the top half of the bof and the insert is 7.5 mm.
  • These changes were made to reduce the chance of tools going everywhere in the box if you put it upside down or shake it. Additionally, I tightened a bit of the dimensions on the hotends and keys so they get held a bit better.
  • Finally I designed replacement 3D printed pins instead of the screw and bolt hardware because I was too lazy to go byuys some. It does function, but not as well as the metal ones.

Printing details:
