Introducing the Drill Guide and Dust Collector with Levels

Keep your floors and walls clean, with this new and improved Drill guide. Use it to collect dust while drilling, but so much more! The guide includes a ruler and places to make pencil marks.

Also, can be fitted with levels to make sure your marking lines are straight. Levels are available on Amazon, please see the link below. Can be used with or without the levels.

Inspired by “aleung” design, found on Printables, I decided that it was more useful to have a removable level in the center of the guide than a drill channel. Levels give the tool a whole new usefulness.

I printed in PLA Matte, which looks great in black and Yellow. (Inspired by original yellow design on Printables)

Use the provided .3mf template.

Orientation and Support:

The object can be printed entirely on a single plate. This model does not need support.

Love the overall look, design and having the built in levels. Unfortunately it's mid at dust collection. The wall of the circle is too flat and deep. A lot of dust builds up on it and does not fall into the bin. I'm wondering if adding a tiny angled channel at the bottom of it would allow the dust to escape while still giving enough area to hold the level.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s a great idea and I will try that. I knew the channel were kind of large, but when testing, unless the pencils were very thin and sharp, they would not fit in the marking grooves. Most of my shop pencils don’t stay sharp for long. Thanks again for the comment.
