Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PRINTING (there's a short assembly/instructional video at the end)

WARNING!!!: Let's get the most important thing out of the way first. The Print Profile provided requires an AMS for the One-Piece Lid ONLY. The One-Piece Lid is the only part that requires supports. I printed everything in PETG, and used PLA as a support interface for the lid. You CAN print this lid without the PLA interface, but if you do, you'll need to download the files and print using your own support settings. If you try to use the Print Profile (for the one-piece lid), and do not use the PETG/PLA combo, the supports will be impossible to get off.

The Sandy Safe is meant to be buried in the sand, keeping the lid uncovered so you can open/close it. Once buried, you can hide the Sandy Safe under your towel, and store your valuables in it. It is roughly 10" tall and can easily hold 2-3 phones plus a wallet, keys, and more. You can print an optional TPU gasket to attach to the main body for added water/sand protection.  This is not included in the Print profile, but can be downloaded as an STL

If you'd like Selling-Rights, or a merchant license agreement, or just want to “buy me a coffee,” please message me for details!

There are two Lid Options

  1. Two-Piece Lid: This lid prints in two pieces, and requires glue and assembly. No supports needed.
  2. One-Piece Lid: This prints as one piece, and requires supports. It's a little deeper and has a “carrying handle” built in.

The square hole in the lid handle is for an optional flag you can print. If you'd rather not hide the Sandy Safe under your towel, you can burry it and use the flag as a marker…

Here is a short assembly instruction video. If you have any questions regarding the model or the print settings, please message me or leave a comment. If you do print it, make sure to share some pics of it when finished, and give me some feedback! Thanks!

It’s a beach vault. You bury it in the sand, and then hide it under your towel. You can store all of your valuables in it.
