Summary

Version_2 Uploaded! The body is in one piece.

A gripper to hold your broom, mop, etc. It will hold from 19mm to 32mm (3/4" to 1-1/4")

I used PLA and TPE

Use a soft TPU or TPE. I tried with a harder TPU although it gripped it didn't automatically pop out when removing the broom.

Use 4 x M4x20 or #6x3/4" screws

printed fine! you’re right though. this is a little too tough. it does not pop back out. I’m using sainsmart 95a black

Strength Issue:The issue with this is one corner near where the straight part connects is always torn. Every single time. I have printed at least 6 copies of this now and each one is ripped in the same spot. I believe the model needs to be updated on those corners to give it more strength.

I updated this part of the model and made that hard edge a filet so it was less prone to having issues there. Seemed to make a difference for me. This could just be that I am printing it in 83A soft TPE.

Okay so here you go it was 100% the seam and you can see it in the photo here. Top model is my fixed model, bottom is the original model. That single corner on the inside that is white is where every single one broke on me because of the seam. My fix causes no seam to be there by added a filet to thicken it a bit.
