Description

I use a sturdy chest of drawers for my A1 Mini. Unfortunately there is very little space to the wall there. So I constructed this double filament spool wall holder. It has a very stable construction and is self-explanatory to assemble. I also personally like the Fiemant feed from above better and there is now enough space. :)

check me out, what i like is i can still use my existing old filament spool and ptfe tube...even tho now I don't even need a ptfe tube but I'll order a few anyway and some lil clips they go into unles i can print one and so I can mount mount one onto your device so they all go in nice and easy...ima print wo more and have 6 spools inside here ....could u add a second set of spool holders to come off each side here? it could be like the MMS manual filament management system or whatever that one guy made, a really cool 10 dollar in filament solution to making your own ams ... Anyway we could have your creation easily supporting 4 spools don't you rhino? or would it need better reinforcement than 4 screws or no? Anyway it's nice to jist use my old filament resting in its tube while the other is being ised...that's why I guess we gotta add some ptfe tubes to your design and we could make it the best cheapest simplest alternative ro the ams AND let's even design an optional STAND Adapter to CLIP right in to your holder so people who can't screw it into the Wall can have it on the ground next to their printer...I see huge potential in this thing

oh let's also ass little simple clip on side circles that pop on and prevent my spool from falling into the printer lol since a tangle can do tha5 but a simple pop on circle with a negative inner circle space , will let us sorta lock the filament in place if we're nervous

oh man check out how nice it turns out in creality blue PETG when I actually used the new spool holder to print it. I think it made the petg print without bubbles now! huge improvement on printsbusing this over hang. I plan to use 4 little clips as a simple manual ams ...but I may add some ptfe tubes so I can leave my filament spooled up and ready in the tubes which do hold the filament better than a clip... maybe I'll use something like that splitter

wow I have similar setup a cabinet so ima use you4 system I think instead of trying to add a second spool to the ai mini , I know removing spool will improve vibrations and prints all together

May I ask what screws you used to mount it? I'm not talented in that area lol; thanks!

Hi. I used very simple assembly screws and dowels. 4x60mm Size. It's bombproof. maybe you can see it in the picture...

I posted about this on r/bambulabs reddit and my plan to expand it out to fit 4 spools and have built in 4 PTFE guide ball joint cylinders like on the ams AND a table mount to clip on so we can have 4 spools on the ground next to printer
