Description

Sub-irrigated (self-watering) planter insert compatible with my 75mm planter pot designs.

On the bottom of the insert there are two built-in break-away support panels. You should be able to snap them off easily. The squares on the bottom have a single-layer of filament. It's optional whether you remove these strands. The purpose is to provide air flow and better drainage to prevent excess water in the soil. The filament strands should not affect functionality.

An optional floating water level indicator is included.

Updates

  • 18 May 2025 - New version 3 insert and float. Matches the general designs I have for other insert sizes.
  • 19 April 2025 - Improved water level indicator. Only 1g of material. Make sure to fully dry your filament and calibrate to ensure it prints without leaks. Let it fully cool and flex the build plate to remove - do not pull off. The walls are thin and can tear apart easily.
