Stackable storage cubes (Customisable)

These basic storage crates are perfect for tidying offices and other areas around the house. They can be made in any size, easily stack, have flat areas for labels, and are very robust. I personally have dozens of these around and find them perfect for collecting everything from magnets to teddy bears.

You can customise these to any height, width, and depth, with or without handles, to suit your needs. I have even provided a 'heavy duty' option, which is great for heavier items (I use them for a collection of hard drives).

Use the new MakerWorld Parametric Model Maker tool to customise these. Unfortunately, I don't think this tool is available with the Bambu Handy Application as yet—you will need to use the website and the Bambu Studio software installed on a computer. Someone, please correct me if I am wrong.

Instructions

1. Click on the green 'customize' button (near the download button)
2. Set up the crate with the size and attributes you want, and then click 'Generate'. This will update the preview.
3. Press the 'Download' button and save the STL to some location on your machine.
4. If you want the stacking base or lid for the crate, change the 'output' option to what you need, click generate once again, and then download the STL.
5. Download the profile that I have provided and load it in Bambu Studio.
6. Remove the supplied models (and 80 x 80 x 65 cube)
7. Import the STLs saved to disk and arrange them as needed.
8. Double-check the slicer settings and make adjustments if necessary. The supplied settings will give a great result, but you may have some special needs.
9. Slice as per usual and print.

Assembly

The stacking base needs to be glued onto the bottom of the crate. For PLA and PETG, I normally use CA glue (Superglue) with great results. Less is more with SuperGlue—use a few small dots on each corner and one in the centre cross.
Once the glue is placed, hold it together for 10 minutes, and it will be ready.
