My neighbor is a big fisherman and Trump fan. He said he had to go buy a new floating keychain for his boat but wanted something that was customizable. Obviously I made this with the Let's Go Biden phrase and he loved it but its designed so that the text should be easily changed to your needs.

*** This is currently in PLA but I will be recreating with PETG in the near future ***

Settings:

• No support necessary (prints slow to eliminate the need and give clean layers)
• Top and bottom of bobber is split into objects for easy customization (colors)
• Extruded the bottom to allow for:
  • Standing on table
  • Helps floating straight up
• Configured to almost eliminate the seams (barely visible)

I did test these with a single boat key and they do float!

How to change text:

• Switch from global to objects (if needed)
  • find the “top text” and right click to "change type" from modifier → parts
  • click edit text and change to your personalized saying (you shouldn't have to change depth or thickness)
  • Center where you want it and right click to "change type" back from parts to modifier to make the text flush again
    • NOTE: Bambu can be flaky in trying to get the text to recenter. If you are having issues it may be easier to just delete the text and recreate from global menu. Just go back into objects when completed and change to modifier as mentioned above to get it flush with the surface.
