I was looking up names for my pot and ChatGPT gave me the idea to use Sylph. A Sylph comes from European folklore and are often depicted as beautiful winged air elementals that are dancing in the sky with the clouds. If any of this information is wrong blame ChatGPT. :P

This pot has a hidden drip tray at the bottom that screws on and off. This is my first design with the screw mechanism and although I love it, I think it will be my last. The screw makes it hard to align the design on the pot when tightening. This makes the mechanism less than ideal for this application.

The pot shown in the pictures is a 4 inch pot. This pot can be easily scaled based on your needs and the screw will continue to work as well.

I have some trouble with the quality of the threads when printing the model on one plate. This makes the pot really difficult to screw on and off. I find that printing the pot and the drip tray separately on 2 plates improves the quality of the threads and fixes the issue.

Scale for sizes:

75% for 3 inches (76.2mm)

100% for 4 inches (101.6mm)

125% for 5 inches (127mm)

150% for 6 inches (152.4mm)

I used Elegoo Matte White and Bambu Matte Charcoal for the prints shown in my photos.

In the print profile I use is a version of the 0.28 layer height default with changes to minor things, like infill type. I find using 0.28 layer height gives a good result at a reasonable time. No supports needed.
