I made this bracket so that i would be able to mount my 4Ft long 12 outlet power strip on the top shelf area of my workbench to allow easy access to outlets to power things such as my printers, filament dryers, Dremel, etc. it has a small lip on the bottom side to allow for easy alignment when mounting along a edge. The power strip fits very snugly when receptacles are slid through the bracket and slightly loose when the housing of the power strip is passed through, to counter this i used small pieces of double sided mounting tape to help fill the small gaps between the bracket and power strip. small pieces of foam weather strip should also provide adequate filler. i have now had my power strip mounted there for several months with no issues.

i used #8 Philips head screws to mount the brackets and they fit perfectly.
