Description
The 3D printed clip is sturdy, lightweight, and super versatile. Perfect for hanging clothes, holding documents together, or anything else. Available in various colors and modern designs.
So you took the defining critical feature that makes the clip work and then modified it to make it work. That is the definition of a remix my friend. I applaud your engineering but credit needs to be given to the original design, thats all I am saying.
Certainly, I understand your point of view, but allow me to clarify something. While I recognize the value and importance of the original design, my work goes beyond simply modifying or adapting it. I have taken inspiration from some fundamental aspects, but I have introduced entirely new concepts and innovations that go far beyond a mere "remix." I have redesigned the entire system, addressing and solving issues that the original did not consider, creating something new and distinct.
My solution is not just a variation of the existing design but a reinterpretation that brings unique added value. So, while I appreciate the recognition of my engineering work, it is important to distinguish between drawing inspiration and creating something entirely new. In this case, I firmly believe that my project represents an innovation in its own right, not merely a remix of the original design.
I used PETG and 4 walls instead of 2, turned out good, but it doesn't hold thin things, the two jaws could be a little closer together. But nice design.
I’m sorry if it seemed like I was trying to take credit for someone else’s work. That was never my intention. I deeply respect the original design and merely aimed to build upon it with new ideas and innovations.
