Edit: Due to popular demand, I have added stls for the version pictured in the photos (No brainer I guess.) as well as a “Super Hex” version. I have also added variants for all three of the options I have uploaded to have a lanyard hole in the body of the stash to tie your cap to or to secure to a keychain without fear of stripping the cap from it dangling. You can secure it with a knot on one side and the rest of the line going through the other to go to the cap.
This is a remix of a bic lighter case with inbuilt storage. The storage is about 12 mm diameter inside and 65 mm deep. The lid is hollow to increase the room. You could put a sewing needle and thread, emergency birthday candle, fire starter, cash, backup cigarette, joint, mini pen knife, small pencil, TBD, insert funny item here, this jokes getting tired, etc in the case!
I remixed this nifty little Bic lighter stash that I found on Thingiverse to suit me better. I added a chamfered cutout to the bottom of the case to allow one to push the lighter out. (Also, I know the lighter pictured is a scripto, which snugly fits, but it is sized to perfectly fit a standard Bic.)
The tab on the lid portion has been embiggened and flared to increase its layer adhesion. The hole has been enlarged as well to accommodate paracord or larger keyrings. The holes are shaped as hexagons to increase their printability.
You can add a modifier to your models to customize them by the way. I added a hexagon STL file and changed its type to negative volume and placed it on my case in prusa slicer. You should try it and post the makes for me to see. The only limit is your imagination… and physics I guess.
If you download and like this file please give it a like and post makes. Happy printing!
