I looked for Hello Kitty money boxes on Makers World but couldn't find any, however there were some cool light boxes that inspired me.

I designed this from scratch as a money box.

No need for supports as I built some into the design and they snap off rather satisfyingly once printed (in the coin/note slot).

Prints in 3 bits:

The main box face down (painted).
A back, face down so you get a nice build plate texture. This needs to be superglued onto the main box, but I designed a raised lip to make locating it easy.
A Hello Kitty inspired flower plug.

The flower screws into the opening at the back so you can access the funds in the box.

Hey there, thanks for the rating :) I'm fairly new to sharing print profiles and I noticed you gave it a 4 not a 5 so I am assuming I did something wrong? Please can you let me know what was wrong so I can look to improve the profile for others? Ta very much.

Hallo grüß dich, Deine Spardose ist top hab sie selber gedruckt warum ich 4 statt 5 sterne gegeben habe lag daran, dass das Gewinde wohl doch stütze braucht, da es unsauber gedruckt wurde und so schwer war diese zu verschrauben. Habe es langsam gedruckt, dennoch war es unsauber. Aber top entwurf

Ah I see, thanks so much for the reply. I'll have a think about the screw thread as it was smooth for me. I wonder if different filament makes a difference? I used Ziro PLA for mine.
