Hello everyone!
I’m thrilled to introduce you to our innovative modular "MAGNET REVOLVER" in a unique revolver design. This creation is born from my need to efficiently store magnets of various sizes, something I struggled to find in existing solutions on MakerWorld. Taking matters into my own hands, I designed a storage system that is both practical and visually appealing.
The design allows magnets to slightly protrude, enabling easy access—you can simply push up the desired magnets with one finger and retrieve them from the revolver.

Great design, thank you.
One thing though: the inserts in the profile have the numbers on top. Therefore, if you choose to do a multicolor print, you will get a purge tower all the way up to the number, which results in a lot of waste.
To avoid this, you could flip the inserts to print the numbers flat on the print bed. The only problem is that the numbers do not fill all the way to the top surface. I edited the inserts so the numbers fill completely and printed them upside down without any issues, resulting in a purge tower of only a few layers.
Great organizer! Really like the modular concept.
Question: I'm not so handy myself with fusion etc., but I think it would be nice to have a holder for bearings (608 mainly). Esp. since I don't have that many magnets.
Would it be possible to make a section for bearings 608? And perhaps other regular smaller bearings?
I just printed one of these and it's awesome, thank you. It feels solid, it's easy to take the magnets out, and the rotation is awesome on it.
This was a very tight fit I had to use a mallet to get the magnet holders into the revolver all the way lol.
Some suggestions for improvements:
1. Make the enclosure that holds the magnets more closed. Especially with the smaller size magnets, they come out straight from the thing due to the stronger magnets around them. The case does not hold them in well enough. Maybe an outer rim can be printed separately and put on like a sleeve to hold the magnets in place where it still allows you to pull the magnets out.
2. Turn the knob that screws to hold everything in place into more of a handle? It's a bit awkward carrying this thing as it feels like it might fall off any second even when holding it from the bottom.
These are the only suggestions I can think of at the moment. I hope they are not coming off as attacks as I love this print and will be using it regularly.
thank you!
thank you!
as for the knob, that’s the one I printed. the stand alone plate just for the knob and it doesn’t feel like a secure way of being able to carry this thing when it’s full of magnets lol anyway awesome print regardless was just giving some thoughts. thank you!!
