Description

Discover the wonderful world of 3D printing and fidget play with this long-lasting, magnet-operated mechanism! Use it to annoy your family and friends, enforce positive behavior when training your pets, or even use it as a musical instrument!

Required Hardware

4 - 6x3mm magnets

Assembly

When placing magnets in the switch mechanism and the casing, ensure they are set in a way that they attract each other.

I've designed the magnet holes to be a “loose” press fit. Due to the variations in how well everyone's printers are tuned, I didn't want to make the tolerance too high, so if your printer is more well tuned than others, you may find a need to glue the magnets in place.

Before gluing the cases together, ensure everything works properly together by doing a dry fit.

If everything fits nicely together, you should end up with a fully functioning clicker that doesn't wear out.

Sloght stringing which could be improved with slightly lower temps and avoid crossing perimeters enabled. Also a slight defect on one of the layer lines but this could be one off case for me and not result of print profile.

some of the buttons are hard to move at the start

I've found sometimes I have to file down the points of friction just slightly off they start to stick.

I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Let me know if you want any help and I can offer my advice. I know some of the tolerances are pretty high, so depending on how well tuned your printer is you may need to sand down parts where they come in contact with other parts.
