Description

Hi guys,

long time no see but I'm back with my newest project → a N64 Case for several DevBoards (eg. Raspi / Rock64 / …).

Assembly:

Filament:

  • Bambu Basic PLA black (Housing, Button & Lock plate, Expansion Pack Slot, Logo)
  • Bambu Basic PLA grey (Controller-Blends & Cartridge Slot)
  • Bambu Basic PLA red (LED indicator & Logo)
  • Bambu Basic PLA green (Logo)
  • Bambu Basic PLA blue (Logo)
  • Bambu Basic PLA yellow (Logo)

Parts:

  • 6 x M3 6mm (2 screws for the locking mechanism, 4 screws for the board)
  • 2 x M5 20mm (housing)
  • 2 x M3 16-20mm (housing)
  • no glue

Clean the print:

Cleaning the print is quite simple. Just one recommendation → use a screw driver for the LED indicator:

I looked at your printer profile, just an idea: Have you ever tried to print the housing at an angle of exactly 45°? In addition, switch to tree support. Then you wouldn't have to clean the entire underside of the housing from supports and it would also look clean inside. The top surface should also look a little better, or let's say different, due to the angle. Vertical is usually smoother than simply horizontal. Maybe I'm wrong, but this looks promising:

hi :) thx for reviewing. yes I had it in my mind as on some previous prototypes the slicer autogenerated that setting. I will may try it with a scaled version but I think it won't look so nice as you expect it. I think the front wouldn't look as clean. I also think that the slots for the fan would not be as stable as the current version. ..that were my initial thoughts last week. maybe I was wrong. feel free to test & report :) I will also try it during the next days.
