Description
May I introduce my new Gyro Fidget Maker?
(Almost) whatever you imagine, it can generate it. These and much more customization options are available:
- All dimensions,
- number of shells,
- with hub or without,
- round or poygonal frame,
- different patterns for the frame,
- with or without eyelet,
- monograms on the hub,
- size of the chamfer.
Important Note: This OpenSCAD script creates many circular objects. A high resolution makes sense so that the generated rings can move well against each other. This inevitably creates large amounts of data that Makerworlds 3MF generator cannot handle well and it may refuse downloading as 3MF. It is therefore recommended to activate the customizer option "High accuracy", select the STL file when downloading and then import it into Bambu Studio. |
Tips for beautiful multicolored objects:
- Using the Bambu Studio "Cut" tool, the object can be divided into an upper and lower half. Important: Activate the “Cut to parts” option. If these halves are colored differently, there are beautiful color effects when used.
- If the object contains at least one monogram, my customizer will automatically create multiple parts for the hub. With the command "Split to parts" in Bambu Studio the object can be divided into these individual parts. If you then color the parts on the top and bottom of the hub differently, there will be nice color contrasts.
