For better hygene I print it in PCTG, which is food safe and dishwasher safe. I use it frequently and dishwash it each time I replace the carbon, about every two weeks. A viable alternative is to print it in antibacterial PLA and cleanse it by immersing it in soapy water.

There's also the concern of microplastics release. To address this, I have sliced the design by combining various gcodes. This approach ensures the print is executed in one continuous extruding motion from start to finish, without travels and retractions
