Summary

Roy draws air from the sides and the bottom. The air drawn from the bottom is filtered by activated carbon, which removes odours and gases, the air drawn from the sides is filtered by Hepa Filter, which removes dust and allergens. Overall, the air in a room is filtered by both activated carbon and Hepa filter.

Roy works with 120mm fans. The frame of the fan has to be removed by cutting with pliers. Then the fan is attached to the cap with thick double-sided tape. The best fan is UpHere, which is smaller then usual 120mm fans, that is why there is a custom "uphere" version of Roy. Use the "generic" version for other fans. If you choose a USB fan, you can add a "usb fan speed controller" (Google it) to adjust and increase USB fan speed. With the controller I usually run Uphere 120mm USB fan at 12V instead of 5V to have higher airflow and still low noise.

Cut 3 Roy filters from 1 400x300x10mm Hepa filter sheet. Google "Frameless hepa filter" to find it

Use 3-5mm granular activated carbon

Roy should be printed with 0.6mm nozzle, I suggest downloading pre-sliced print files (gcodes) for your printer from River Family website (many printers available) : https://www.riverfamily.art/
