I needed a way to exhaust my printer to the outside through a screen. This system uses magnets to attach the outside vent to the output side of a 120mm AC fan. I cut a piece of cardboard to fit the screen area of my window and then cut a round hole in the cardboard to attach the output flange of my fan. Once that is inserted in the window I can go outside and attach the vent. The output from the printer is held on by magnets.
I used this fan: Wathai 120mm x 25mm AC Powered Computer Fan with AC Plug 110V 120V 220V 240V Variable Speed Controller 3V to 12V,
Magnets: I used .472 x .118" which is about 12 x 3 mm so these should work: Small Magnets, 80 Pack Refrigerator Magnets 12x3mm Rare Earth Magnets Neodymium Magnets for Crafts
