Description

KMART DOG BED - Broken Frame\welds - Fixed Easily with these
https://www.kmart.com.au/product/pet-bed-elevated-large-42951896/?sku=42951896®ion_id=400001&gad_source=1

These pet beds are inexpensive and quite good normally!!  However, the small welds on the end of the horizontal cross bar can rust off \ rip off and some appear poorly made.   If this happens - it will take the embedded M8 threaded nut with it, so you cannnot attach the side rails anymore and your Pet will be sad without a bed!

DONT THROW THE BED AWAY.
#1.  Simply print these small “NUT” inserts
#2. Press fit them into tthe ends of the horizontal cross bar
#3. Rassemble your Ped Bed, be sure not to let the insert slip inside the tube as tightening.

Note:-  It can help to pre-screw through to clear any poor print material ffrom the threads.

#4 Get Cuddles from your Pet because they love their fixed bed.

I recommend at tleast PETG for outdoors, preferably ASA or ABS - but a quick test print in expensive PLA is recommended.
Then after test print fits, flex up the filament type to something outdoor resistantt and crank up the infill if you wish.

I have had mine outdoors, in the sun for 6 months, mine using PETG and mine are still fine and holding firm.
