Warning: Ozone Exposure and Ozone Generators

• Exposure to Ozone:
  • Ozone concentrations between 0.1 and 1 μmol/mol can lead to headaches, burning eyes, and irritation of the respiratory passages.
  • Even low concentrations of ozone in the air can be highly destructive to organic materials, including latex, plastics, and animal lung tissue.
• Ozone Generators:
• Ozone generators operate at high voltage.
• Exercise caution when using ozone generators.
• After usage, ventilate the space thoroughly.
• Ensure that people and animals are not present near the generator while it is running.

Remember to prioritize safety and follow these guidelines when dealing with ozone exposure and ozone generators.

I have two flavours of this portable DIY ozone generator available on eBay, AliExpress or Amazon. One operates with DC power (12v) for portability and in car usage, the other one is an AC powered version for in door usage. But both are with two plates.

They are small but with high effectiveness when fighting against odours.

I designed the case to accommodate a single generator and a single fan (but you can install two if you want).

You will need:

• An Ozone Generator
• A Fan (you have the option to utilize either 80mm or 92mm)
• 4x PC Fan Screws
• 2x Rocker Switch (10x15mm)
• 4x M3 Screws (4mm - 6mm)
• Some suitable Wires
• Some Cable Ties for cable management
