Description

This is a vertical stand for APs from TP-Link Omada EAP 6 series version V1 including EAP 670, 660, 650, 620, 610.

Usually these APs are required to install on the wall or ceiling and one have to drill holes in the wall. Since I just want to put it on the shelf (the signal is still very good!), I made this vertical stand to avoid any drilling (and for better wife/hubby acceptance factor).

I made a small top notch in the model. Sometimes it was not easy to remove the APs from the mounting plate and you have to twist it VERY hard. In this case you can place a flat screw driver between the mounting plate and the AP though the top notch to make it easier for the removal. ;)

Note: It fits the “older” version of EAP 6 Series APs which come with a mounting plate with 4 holes and a cross in the middle, as shown in the cover. The distance between the screw holes should be about 5cm.

I cannot test whether the “newer” version (which is not much available at least in Europe) also fit because I do not have one. But probably it need other designs as the mounting plate in these newer version seems to be different.

Warning: Please print it at least in PETG, or ABS. The APs might run hot and could cause deformation of models printed in PLA or PLA+!
