Description

I tried different sound mods but none worked well for me so i made a 360° Rotating Base for this one Quest 3 Koss Headphone Mount (with Elite Strap) by AlFlo3D - MakerWorld.

The Base replaces a cover one the S3 Pro.

  1. Unscrew the Cover (see Picture)
  2. Print both parts - I did 0.2mm, 15% infill without supports
  3. Print all parts from the original except Clip 11 and Piston Mount 11
  4. Beware that the Print in Place part needs to get loosen with a small plier so it rotates - see red arrow
  5. Insert Arm Holder to the slot and glue it in
  6. Install the Parts from the Original
  7. Install mod on S3 Pro
  8. Done

I added my F3D File - beware i never use Fusion 360 or do 3D Modelling and building this costed me a huge amount of time but it somehow worked. But the file is a pure mess haha.

Are you able to upload any further pictures of the post print processing and installation? I tried to print this but it prints as a singular fused part for me. There is no way to loosen the print in place part as it fuses to the stem that screws into the headset.

Sorry for the late reply. You need to get unter the stem like on the picture of the render with some plier. If that is not working you can try to enable build plate supports so the 2 bridges that connect the stem get supported. If that is not working i'm dunno why you can't loosen it. I print it again now to test it. Edit: I printed it with another filament and its indeed not working. I will need to adjust that. Edit2: I've adjusted the gap and tested it with a filament thats "harder to print". It now works fine to loosen. I've adjusted the instrunction with a picture.
