For everyone with a BROR shelf from IKEA who is struggling to open the AMS on their P1S or X1C.

Lowering the shelf would have been a huge waste of space, so I came up with this idea -rising the topmost shelf and create the necessary clearance needed for easy access and spool-change.

Mounting instructions:

Before doing anything - Make sure to cut open the threads on the RISER !!

(Its a one layer wall that has to be cut which was necessary in order to get a flat bridging for the guidance-square)

1-2. The 4 RISER get stuck into position on the shelves couplings.

3. Begin by placing (2) side-panels on the RISER.

For demonstration purpose I have only located one in the picture (so don't get confused) *A third hand may come in handy.

4. Then place the TOP part onto the RISER (The positive and negative squares on both prints will guide you)

5. Insert the 5x20mm hex socket screw from above (only possible if previously cut open).

Then tighten the screw, BUT do not over-tighten - remember its plastic.

6. Section-view of how the installation should look like.

If you have reached this point of the build at all 4 corners, you can reinstall the top shelf.

**This RISER will also work for In-Between-Shelves.
