 Idea

as we moved flat, we are missing one of our reusable advent calendars. I recently started 3D printing and came up with the idea to build my own one with our symbol animal as template. 

I own a Prusa Mini, which has a fairly small printing area in comparison. Thus my assumption is this model will fit almost every printer. 

I used a dovetail (excuse me if it is not the right term) to attach the poles to the bears. It is pretty stable and stands enough tension for my needs. I suggest printing the bears with higher infill at least at the pole because this way the extension breaks before the bears, just in case. It is an easy and fast print to recreate one of the extensions. 

The hole at the backside is located exactly in the middle. It aligns with the butts of the other bears, just a little bit higher and the wall. This way the downforce of the total weight presses the bears against the wall, which avoids turning due to unbalancing to a certain extent. 

I left rabbets at the end of the extensions, so the threads can't slip off. 

the face is painted with a black pen. 

If you are interested in using the same clips, Check out the original link in the remix section. Some packages are pretty heavy and the clips hold on tight very well. I folded the packaging to make it even more tight. 

Settings

please feel free to use different settings. These worked for me:

layer height: 0.2mm with 0.4mm nozzle

infill: 15% (or more for better stability)

support: up to 12° to lift up the butts

profile: detailed or structural for slow perimeter and better quality

border: activated, as bottom surface is small due to round shape

turn model 45° on z-axis if it does not fit your printer by default
