Description

I wanted to make my first articulated dragon, since that seems like a 3D printing right of passage, but I wanted to make it softbodied, so I decided to learn some sculpting basics in blender. Here's a first project, and the dragon articulation seeemed to turn out pretty well by the end. I printed the model 5 times using the same spool and made small tweaks to the model after each one. Was having slight issues with overhangs the first few attempts, but now the model is more user-friendly. Feel free to leave any feedback.

I just used the base bambu studio slicer settings and used a color gradient pla. Used .2mm layer height, and the model probably looks much better smaller, but I didn't have time to test again. Fits on 220mm square bed. Takes about 7 hours to priint on my Bambu P1S with no supports. If it gives you trouble, slow down your print speed. I didn't have any issues though.

The tail teeth has built-in supports you can remove, but do not have supports turned on in your slicer. These supports can easily be removed afterwards with pla snips.
