Description

Hi folks, I created a a quick and fun way to quickly cool down your A1 Mini build plate.

The active cooling plate uses a 140mm PC fan, in may case a Noctua NF-A14 5V PWN, to cool down your freshly printed parts on the build plate. I just connected it to an handy switch to power it on and off on the fly.

The cooling plate itself is swappable through its magnetic connection (4x1mm Neodym) to the box - feel free to make your own variants 😉

The box has an air outlet at the back so the air stream works perfectly.

You'll be able to use the original fan screws to mount it to the box - 4 screws for the bottom to fix the fan and 4 screw for the top to mount the aero plate.

Parts that I used in this project

Filament

  • Bambu Lab Matte PLA Charcoal
  • Bambu Lab Matte PLA Grass Green

Electronics

  • Noctua NF-A14 5V PWN PC Fan
  • Any USB ON/OFF switch
  • 5V Phone charger

Others

  • 4x1mm Neodym magnets

Hope you have fun with it - don´'t forget to share and give it a like! ❤️

Don't panic, just print it! 🚀

PS: There is also a light version of this Cooling Plate - The Passive Cooling Plate for Bambu Lab A1 Mini 😉
