Description
Needed a bowie knife for an outfit. Thought I'd share the model :)
You'll need three of the pins. Should be a tight fit for most parts, but you'll still want to glue them together.
Assembly should be quite straight forward.
- Glue the pins to one side of the handle.
- Insert handle with pins into tang
- Place other side of the handles on the pins (they'll be sticking out of the tang)
- Mount the tang assembly into the guard
- Mount the blade into the guard
- Done!

Very nice model, thank you. Snapped together without glue, and looks the business. I didn't have the courage to print the blade upright, but with a little support which came away easily, it printed just fine laying down.

Should be OK to print the blade upright with a fairly significant brim :)

tried to print the blade upright and it fell midpoint :( Im trying again with a raft as the brim didnt work. I cleaned the bed just before.
