Duanwu Festival （Dragon Boat Festival） is a traditional Chinese holiday, usually celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar. On this day, people eat zongzi, race dragon boats, and participate in customs such as hanging calamus and mugwort. This holiday originated from an ancient folk festival, named in memory of Qu Yuan. During the Dragon Boat Festival, people also commemorate Qu Yuan and pray for peace and health.

我想在这有意义的节日里做一款好玩有趣的龙舟上传makerworld，这个中国传统的节日是多么的浪漫。前前后后还是花了蛮多时间，最开始考虑的也是做可以活动的龙，但是龙舟，是龙和舟，于是就以舟为基础条件进行设计，终于做好了，希望大家能喜欢。

I want to create a fun and interesting dragon boat to upload on MakerWorld during this meaningful festival, showcasing how romantic this traditional Chinese holiday can be. It took quite a bit of time to complete this project. Initially, I was considering making a movable dragon, but the essence of a dragon boat lies in both the dragon and the boat. So, I focused on the boat as the fundamental element for my design. After all the effort, I have finally completed it, and I hope everyone will enjoy it.

模型分别为两个版本220mm和120mm，120的脖子有点脆弱，所以替换为了圆柱，安装的时候太困难可以考虑打磨一下。船桨版本保留的是220mm的龙，如果需要在水中漂浮，需要安装船桨，否则可能会重心不稳导致模型翻转。

There are two versions of the model, one with a size of 220mm and the other with 120mm. The neck of the 120mm version is a bit fragile, so it has been replaced with a cylinder. If it is too difficult to assemble, consider sanding it down. The version with the boat oars retains the 220mm dragon. If you intend to float it in water, make sure to install the boat oars to ensure stability. Otherwise, there may be instability in the center of gravity which could lead to the model tipping over.

I also made a bunch of cute zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) and uploaded them as well. For those who are interested, you can go take a look. They can be paired with the dragon boat, which would make it even more fun. I hope you like them. (I really stayed up several nights working on this). Haha!

Zongzi, also known as rice dumplings, are traditional Chinese food commonly eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival. Zongzi are made by wrapping glutinous rice, sugar, and various fillings in bamboo leaves or other specific plant leaves, and then tying them tightly with strings before cooking them by boiling or steaming. They can come in different flavors, including sweet and savory, and are a popular food during the Dragon Boat Festival. Traditionally, people eat zongzi to commemorate the ancient poet Qu Yuan and to ward off evil spirits and diseases.
