I have both a large gantry style CO2 laser cutter as well as a MOPA Galvo laser an wanted a way to use my 6 inch exhaust hose for both with little effort. I used magnets to attach the 6 in exhaust hose mount to both the CO2 laser mount and the Galvo mount. I use a 6mm aluminum plate on top of my bed so I made a version that sits on the bed directly as well as on my 6mm plate. There are smaller and larger rings to allow for a farther reach to the smoke that the Galvo creates. 3mm x 5mm round magnets are used in this project.
