Description

Based on the excellent Gridfinity system by Zach Freedman
Wiki: https://gridfinity.xyz/

Differeces from the standard design:

  • The interface has an added 0.4 mm flat section on top.
  • The bottom chamfer has been extended for improved print bed adhesion.
  • The base units can be overwritten which breaks compatibility but can use all space available.

Please do not share print profiles here that break compatibility.
Label print profiles well according to their settings.

Customization Options

The basic customization starts at the width and depth of the base plate in gridfinity units.
Additionaly margins can be added on all sides and the rounded outside corners can be configured or completely removed.

On top of that the base units for the grid can be redefined. This will break compatibility with the standard gridfinity containers etc. but will allow for much more flexibility when filling a drawer completely with containers.

An equally modifiable container can be found in my other models here.

Works great, thanks! Small suggestion, to show the total size; now you need to calculate the units with the margins to know the total size

Hello. VERY VERY COOL. Exactly what I was looking for in my workshop. Is it possible that you have a version with magnets or eventually even with small wood screws for wood bins? Screws are cheaper than magnets and so I would only need magnets on the Gridfinity bins :D Thank you very much.

I don't have one personally as I don't really use magnets. I've seen a few models here that have that feature though. I might add it in the future but I currently don't have the time/patience to fight with OpenSCAD.

(Almost) perfect print. Bridges were a bit stringy, but that's my fault, not the models!
