Description

This is my project, which has a lot of use, it is very strong and works well with me, I definitely recommend printing it if you like it leave me a boost token thank you

This are all models what you need print.

We will start the work by printing all the necessary models, I prepared them in the print profile.

1.we take the base of the vise and insert the movable jaw into it

2. We screw the threaded rod into the base and connect it to the movable jaw we insert the case into it, which is made of 2 parts (cut in half)

3. we add spacers between the movable and base jaws.

4. Insert the rod into the screw rod and add 2 stops at each end.

It looks good, although more massive than I expected. There are no problems with printing, but I had to redo something: I didn’t understand why I should cut the sleeve into 2 parts, it didn’t fulfill its function. Сonnected it together and increased it by 3% so that the sleeve fits tightly and does not require the use of glue. I printed suitable M5 screws for the jaws, but the thin M3 ones didn’t hold, so I replaced them with thinner cylinders with glue.

Good print but was bigger than expected. I suggest having a bigger surface area for threads and maybe use the triangle concept for the clamps to make it more robust. I painted it to suit the colors I wanted.
