Description

I designed a Parametric knob for potentiometers in fusion 360 and then i saw this contest coming up. so i dove into openscad and since i never worked with openscad before it was blood, sweat and a lot of tears. this came out eventually.
i hope you can put my design to good use….

Adjustments you can make:

  • height
  • width
  • smoothness
  • flatted shaft (yes/no)
  • adjust the flatted face placement
  • width of the shaft
  • set screw (yes/no)
  • size of the screw
  • placement of the set screw
  • hollow space underneath (yes/no)
  • depth of the hollow space
  • wall thickness of the hollow space
  • grip on button (yes/no)
  • width of the indents (top/bottom)
  • starting angle of the indents
  • placement of the indents
  • smoothing of the edges

always check your outcome before printing ;)

if you set the heigt of you setscrew in the middle of the hollow space you cannot use the setscrew.

i added two profiles, for a more premium feel go for the 100% infill version.
(45mm knop flatted shaft and no set screw, it is a snugg fit.)
