This is modeled after the hanger from FLOBI (https://makerworld.com/en/models/437915?designId=437915#profileId-378754), but I first saw this model from a remix by Minus97 (https://makerworld.com/en/models/457799#profileId-365818). I modified the hanger to be able to use 3M claw dry Wall Hangers (https://a.co/d/cPC0Jwq). I use a piece of 1/16" x 1-¼" Aluminum cut to fit along with some ruthex inserts and screws. In my beta test I have posted I used tolerances and spacing that was a bit to tight so in the model I made the areas bigger so hopefully not as much sanding to fit is needed. I currently am hanging my Ruroc Atlas 3.0 with one 25LB (~11kg) with good results. I am thinking of using a screw or setting up the second mount to keep it stable from swaying. I am still pretty new to 3d printing and this project was fun, and frustrating while I learn. I did all modeling in OnShape.
If you have not messed with aluminum it is considered a softer metal and most wood working tools can be used on it to decent effect.
