Description

This tray allows you to dry your renewable silicagel beads in your printer. Simply fill it with a thin layer of beats, set the printer to 55 Celcius and enable the chamber- and auxilery fan. Drying may take somewhere between an hour and 4 hours. This tray is also stackable!!

After drying you can remove the corner of the tray to poor your beads back into the box that was holding them.

How many hours did you dry the beads and on what temps?

3h or so, at 100° if I remember correctly. Since I had colored beads in there, I used them as reference and did not really check the time. Maybe it was only 95°, not sure about that.

My heatbed is relative high in the near of the AUX fan. My setting is now at 65°C and 40% AUX fan. In my region i have a humidity between 50-60%.

I printed and used it directly. After around 2h I can see some lighter colors. So this print is very useful. Need to dry more. Thanks for the great print profile, which was printed via iOS app. I use the PLA version, but I believe I will print PETG as well, so I can increase the drying temperature.

The model is ok, but I couldn't get the silica gel to dry completely after a few hours. I'll have to try different settings.
