Having trouble getting good-quality vertical prints of your lithophanes? I created a parametric program to customize a printing frame that is strong, light and easy to remove. You can generate a custom frame for any size lithophane (up to 220mm wide or so), by setting parameters in SCAD or Maker World's Customizer. Export the stl right from Maker World. I have included several standard sizes in my profiles. I have also included a sample profile with a lithophane and the frame with all my standard settings.
All stls and OpenSCAD files are available in the download section.

How to use the Customizer
Click on “Customize” to open the SCAD Customizer.
Follow the directions below to adjust the parameters for your particular lithophane.
Printing Instructions
To use my preferred settings for the frame and the lithophane, load the example profile from the profile section. Use the nifty “Replace With STL” feature in Studio. Right click either the frame or the lithophane and replace it with your own stl, or a different frame size. This will preserve all the print settings without having to select them all manually.
If you prefer to plate it yourself or have a non-Bambu printer, please follow these instructions;
The frame and the lithophane are not assembled into one object and have different print settings. The frame should be printed as light as possible since it will be discarded at the end of the print, while the lithophane should be printed at lower layer height and higher infill. Using my example profile, I have set the lithophane to print at .12mm and the frame to print at .24mm. This means the frame will print every 2 layers of the lithophane. Global project setting = .24mm layer height, 5% rectilinear infill. We'll adjust the lithophane parameters separately.
To plate the frame and the lithophane, drag them both onto the plate but do not accept them as an assembly. For bed slingers (A1 and Mini), set the lithophane and the frame parallel to the y-axis. Rotate the frame 90 degrees, if necessary.
Right click and center each component on the plate.
Once centered, select the lithophane and go to the object screen and set the layer height to .12mm and the wall loops to 10. This will maximize the quality of the lithophane while reducing the print time and the weight of the frame.
The frame should be easy to remove by flexing it.
