Description

I saw the model by designer @mlodybuk to reposition the A1 camera and I liked it for the A1 Mini, since the original perspective is quite bad. However, it is not compatible with this one, so I decided to create this remix to make it compatible with the A1 Mini printer. I also used part of @Henlor's model of the front casing for the X-axis for this printer because it is perfectly designed and fits perfectly.

Thanks @despacho3d for the model of rear cover Bambulab A1 mini Camera relocation back cover and Fake cam rounded to cover original hole

modello ottimo e risolve davvero i problemi fastidiosi della camera, propongo di creare anche un piccolo tappo nella parte posteriore per evitare la formazione di polvere!

Hardest part was getting the camera out, bet I messed with that for 30 minutes lol. Love the better view, nice job! Though it is such a better view I will actually be using camera slide as it show more of my office now 😉 Glad I found your back plate, fits perfectly 👌

great idea. what about a plug to fill the void where it was mounted. not real attractive leaving that hole open and also allows debris to enter just a thought

I'll try to make a piece to cover the hole, thanks for the suggestion.

is this also on the back of the camera in the design as this is also open 🤔 Or i missed something?

I was referring to the void space where the camera was originally mounted is now just a hole or is that what the cap is for and just print 2 of them ?

Haven't tested or printed. But will this mess with the calibration and monitoring? I noticed the camera realizes when there is extra filament on the nozzle and wipes it away mid print. Since you cannot see the nozzle in the after, does it affect it?

It's not actually the camera that detects those filament remnants on the nozzle; it's the pressure sensor itself that touches the bed to check that everything is fine. Therefore, adding this camera mod would not affect that function or any other function at all.
