Description

Since I recently started playing with gear designs, I made this and found it nice enough to share, even though quite similar things exist already. I had quite some fun fidgeting with it.

 

It's a print-in-place design, so assembly is not required, but a well dialed in printer (with good tolerances) is.

 

Movement may be rough at first (even a bit difficult to break loose), but after some breaking in they should turn smoothly.

turned out great, required some pliers to break large gear free but believe this was totally my fault for using pei plate.

Maybe your filament is a bit runny... Try reducing the flow ratio by a few percent or set a slightly positive value for XY hole compensation (like 0.05).

Hard to get the initial turn but after it works great.

Check your flow ratio, I find with most gears and other fidgets I need to go below my usual 0.97 to get them to move properly.
