The condensate drain for my central unit was poorly done, and clogs often. Until I can redo it, I have to vacuum out clogs on a regular basis. This adapter fits over a 1.25" OD male fitting, and into an elbow for 1" PVC. It makes it easier than just holding the 2 together whilst vacuuming.
