Description

This is a realistic model of a 7.62x51mm NATO M80 Ball round with an integrated M13 link. Each model can snap to the next to create a belt of ammo that can be as long as you want. This model is perfect for adding that extra touch of realism to your airsoft M60 or M240B, for decoration, or cosplay.

The included print profile contains 10 rounds, but if you want more, you can either print multiple or clone them in Bambu Studio. I was able to comfortably fit 59 rounds on a single build plate. The STL file is for a single round. The round has a gold/brass-colored shell and a copper-colored projectile, with a black link. The standard military belt contains a single M62 Tracer every 5th round, which has identical coloring except for a red tip on the last ~7mm of the projectile.

As usual, these could easily be mistaken for real ammunition if painted properly. Be smart and be kind. These are also not in any way load-bearing, due to the design of the link. It won't hold your pants up on its own should you decide to actually use it as a belt.

If you enjoy this model, I'd appreciate a like or a boost. I'm always trying to find new things to model and print, so stay tuned, there's more coming!

Printed great and the support came off very easily too. (The support seems to create a little tab, at the base of the round, that you can grab and pull the entire supports off in one pull). They click together nicely and move freely.

Awesome! Could you do the same for a .50cal ammo belt? I'm printing a .50cal at the moment and would love some belt to go with it.

I'm currently working with something I have limited-time access to, but once that is complete, I can absolutely do .50. SHOULD be up within a week.
