This is super rough but works well. 

I created these pieces to use in assembling the idea I had of up-cycling old IKEA Olov legs in to an overhead camera rig. 

Again, they are not perfect but they are functional.

The ball mount was made specifically to fit the ball of the Pedco UltraPod II Lightweight Camera Tripod from Amazon. Unfortunately, the listing says that its not available but they have a newer version.  You can also purchase the ball and socket head independently also in their store.
